Master of Science in Agriculture (Applied Economics and Statistics)

The Master's Degree is a general degree in agriculture and can be thesis or non-thesis depending on student goals. The degree is general by design which allows for maximum flexibility for each student. 

Emphasis in Applied Economics and Statistics

This is an interdisciplinary emphasis focused on the application of economic principles and statistical analysis.  Course work includes statistical inference, experimental design, and applied econometrics with applications to a variety of problems relevant to crop science, animal science, agribusiness, economic development, and environmental and natural resource management.  Applied problem solving projects and cooperative education serve to bridge the various disciplines associated with agriculture and life sciences.
